Membership Benefits
Our members include recognized
experts, other specialists, serious collectors who study the
philately of Brazil, and--more than all others put
together--ordinary collectors who are just interested in forming or
enlarging or understanding their collections of Brazil philatelic
material. Dealers as well as collectors are welcome, and members
include not only dealers, but even the publisher of a specialized
catalog of Brazil's stamps and philately. Our membership list is
held confidential, so you can join without worrying about becoming
widely known unless you wish to be.
Member services include:
- Subscription to the quarterly journal, Bull's Eyes;
- Access to a library of reference material;
- Translation assistance;
- Discounts on purchase of specialized catalogues from Brazil;
- Back copies of Bull's Eyes issues at a nominal fee;
- Expertise and exhibit help; and
- Outreach programs.
BPA members also have the privilege of placing free “advertisements” in each issue of the journal — either to offer material for sale/trade, to post a want list, to seek information from the collective knowledge of the membership, or to establish contact with fellow members interested in a particular collecting topic.
How to Join
Due to the untimely passing of our long-time Editor/Publisher, Treasurer, and friend Bill Kriebel, the Association is effectively "on hiatus." In the interim, we will be collecting no further dues or membership applications until the Association's future is more fully determined.
